  • As cliché-ish as it sounds, stacking firewood out in the crisp morning air really makes me glad Fall is finally here. My fav time of year! #
  • RT @leolaporte: RT @jcherup: Facebook bought drop.io and is discontinuing the service! Damnit. — WTF? yet another reason Facebook sucks! #

  • Some people go to a sports bar to watch the World Series. I’m at a hospital. Drinks are worse but the company is way better. #

It is towel season again

I just updated my mother’s towel catalog for the first time in a while. Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas are all coming up and there are towels for each! Of course, the everyday ones make great gifts too! Take a look look at what’s available here.

  • RT @kevinrose: “Like bacon?, move to SF http://yfrog.com/j5g8tj" – Yum! Hope Dunkin Donuts is listening! Bacon makes everything better. #
  • @embly917 If not for the whole diabetes thing, I’d definitely have stopped for candy. Maybe Stan’s “hyper pug” costume was scaring them. in reply to embly917 #

High tech (sort of) pumpkin carving

Category: Randomness — Posted by Michael at 1945

When I carve a pumpkin my tools are generally a few knives, spoons, etc. But now there’s a special pumpkin carving attachment to clean out your pumpkin. It it sort of like a egg beater. It’s called the Pumkpin Gutter. It seems like overkill to me, but hey, each to their own.

Check it out at http://www.getcarvingquicker.com/PumpkinGutter.htm while i go find my sawzall to cut out the eyes.
