Alaska Trip - Day 1 - Canada Day in Vancouver, British Columbia
July 2010
We arrived in Vancouver the day before our ship was scheduled to depart. By coincidence it was Canada Day. After walking around Granville Island, we headed up to Canada Place to enjoy the festivities. In celebration of Canada Day, they re-lit the Olympic Cauldron for the first time since the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games closed. It was very easy to imagine how this city felt during the Olympics. We finished our night at the Canada Day Parade.
