Peddler's Village Christmas Festival December 2007 Christmas is my favorite time of the year. This year I kicked off the season by going to the Peddler's Village Christmas Festival with Kelly. We'd been to the little shopping village in Lahaska, PA in the summer before (see those photos here) but it's a whole other place at Christmastime. If carolers, hot mulled cider, toasting marshmallows over an open fire and thousand upon thousand of Christmas lights doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, I don't know what ever will!

The entire village was decked out Victorian Chrstmas style	and you think reaching the top of your Christmas tree is tough1	The ice on teh pond gives you an idea of how cold it was

As the sun set, the village lit up	Thousands of lights transformed the village	Looking across the frozen pond
Shops light up to welcome shoppers, lots and lots of shoppers	There was no real snowflakes, but this ws the next best thing	Once the sun set and the tempertures really dropped hot cider was the perfect way to warm up
